I've managed to find my way through the German front lines and return home. Here is what you missed in images. From Dusseldorf's finest ale, to soccer, to actual work stuff, I had a great trip. One day, I might even bring Mel and the kids.
This was my 4th time in
I love it there. I fanatically love being mistaken for a local and having folks hurl a string of absolutely un-comprehensible language at me. I even got asked where to eat by a couple of tourists.
Other languages I pretended to speak: English (I ain't that good at it), Spanish (poorly I assure Mrs. Suppes) and even got some sign language in (to the absolute delight to the deaf folks on the train). My kids taught me some of that from pre-school.
My last big business trip, you'll recall I broke an elevator. This trip, it was a train car. Seems my foot blocked the door from opening, preventing it from closing securely. It resulted in the conductor coming back to fix, earning me bad looks from the passengers.
Other than that, no major issues. The soccer game was awesome. It was a "B" level team but they had more skill than most I've gotten to see firsthand. And of course, lots of beer in the stadium.
Anyhow, trip was good and it is great to be home. How are you doing?
If you have a sec, click on the last photo. It was taken with the new Casio ZX150 and it takes really nice pics. Just saying.

It also looks cold. Isn't it 80 degrees everywhere? Oh, is that just here?
