Well, being boatless didn't last long. Honestly, I don't know how you boatless people bear it. The shear boredom, the inability to look down your nose at others. I mean where you do you sip your champagne and munch on your caviar?
Perhaps I am getting ahead of myself. The Pear (old boat) is safely at its new home in Kentucky (heck yeah!) while our new boat, shown here, is on Long Island. We've be working on her like thieves to bring her to this side of the Sound. Anyone like to sand teak? Applications are being accepted.
We are thrilled. She sleeps 6 (the boat I am talking about here) and is roomy and big in the cockpit so we can have all of you out (well, not at once). She has a spinnaker and lots of fun equipment, like a bimini too keep my head from getting sunburned. hooray!
So, please, stop up this summer and come for a sail so we can recall the good times when my kids ask why they have to go to a state college...
Oh, we are renaming her "Taino". First one to guess why in the comments wins something shiny. oooooh.
