
I am lobbying the National Weather Service to change how we name hurricanes this year based on thire increasing frequency. Our 26 letter alphabet is too limiting.
I suggest going to the chinese alphabet where 6000 characters used for everyday language would be much simpler and everyone would know where we stand.
Storms like "Hurricane Moo Goo Gai Pan" and "Hurricane Chow Fun" or even "Hurricane Poo Poo Platter" seem much less freightening than some name stolen from a pole-dancer last Thursday when the NWS boys headed into town...
Or maybe I am just hungry for lunch...
