Ok, thanks to my brother Rob, I am focused on people seeing less of me... losing weight and since the pharmaceutical industry is letting me down, I am on my own. He gave me this website (www.fitday.com) where you can get a free account and it will track what you eat, your work out and it keeps all the data.
For some reason having to type in what food I eat on there is a powerful thing. I mean, can anyone in good faith put down they ate a bag of Funyuns after dinner? A sleeve of Ho-hos? Nope. Not even 2 cups of something...
So now, everytime my hunger strikes me I think about putting it on the website and it deters me. Of course the flip side of that is exercise. So I am running one day then biking the next. I am sure the weather will give out at some point but...
My Aunt Idy used Nutrisystem to lose weight. My Dad is trying the same, except he is buying his astronaut food off ebay (I swear he is frickin nuts).
But I think the Rob method: keep your intake of calories below your usage and you'll lose weight might work for me. Did I mention I hate running? And yes, that is bow on Ians head...
