Ok, I am taking some heat now from family members whose birthday was not on my radar. And in keeping with my mantra, "please the pregnant woman" here goes:
Happy Birthday April! For those who may not know, April is Mel's sister. Due to technical gliches it is late...
ok, not really a glitch, more faulty parts. Monday I went to the dentist with new paperwork for insurance. I had to fill out Mels birthdate. Yep, I got it wrong. Almost got Reagans wrong. I don't like dates. I know like 4 off hand. Honestly, I don't trust dates.
It would not be a stretch to say my parents faked my birthday date becuase they forgot. My dad forgets a lot of things, as does Rob. Ok, maybe not Rob. Who knows, I could be the same age as Mel (though, we all know I am not).
Then comes my beef with greeting cards...I despise them. You spend all this time looking for some other writers feelings to convey your feelings to someone. why not just grab a paper and write it down yourself. Cut out the middle man and save some dough and 2.7 months of your life searching for greeting cards (I did the math on that so you might want to check it).
Which is not to take away from Aprils birthday. I am sorry I missed it. I am not going to miss it next year... So here is my top five list of things I like about April -

- I like that you had confidence in me to put in a new sink. Really, I am not sure I would have tackled that without having to pretend to you I could do it no problem . Still not leaking right???
- 3 kids (technically 2 with one to come). I am winded with two. Someone told me two kids is like playing man on man, three is zone. You are far braver than I.
- You can down wings like no other girl I've seen. I mean it was a race to get any wings at all.. and I am no slouch...
- Reagan loves you guys so much, it is very sweet. I am sure Ian does too, he lives in his own fantasy world, must get that from Mel.
- I think you get most of my jokes, which scares me cause it is much easier when no one knows what you are talking about.
- I like that you get along with Mel now. Makes my life easier. Thanks for that!
